Freedom emerges from an extraordinary example of Swanton Red Marble. This exquisitely gracefully carved eagle represents the heroics that this national symbol exemplifies.Once again I am grateful to the owners of the quarry where this very rare stone (some say it is a semi-precious stone) is extracted.
The limited output of this quarry is nearly totally committed to the oil sheikdoms.

This is a beautiful piece. It takes a lot of patience and courage to carve those wings. It however makes the stone look "free".
